Description For Fullstack Engineer

Oddball is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. The role involves writing code, developing tests, and debugging; working hand in hand with other engineers in developing end-to-end testing solutions and API endpoints and services. You will help build, improve and build out both the front and backend code that interfaces with external systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and design software solutions
  • Creating, modifying, and testing code for computer applications
  • Developing applications from specifications
  • Writing, analyzing, reviewing, and rewriting programs
  • Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications
  • Performing or directing revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs
  • Writing and maintaining computer programs or software packages
  • Consulting with various personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
  • Performing systems analysis and programming tasks
  • Identifying and correcting problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback
  • Participating in team agile ceremonies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience working with Java, preferably with a Spring Boot Middleware
  • 2+ years of Angular experience
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud computing services, including AWS
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities For Fullstack Engineer

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and design software solutions
  • Create, modify, and test code that allows computer applications to run
  • Work on developing applications from specifications
  • Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications
  • Perform or direct revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs
  • Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages
  • Consult with managerial, technical, and business personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks
  • Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
  • Participate in team agile ceremonies

Requirements For Fullstack Engineer

JavaScript

  • Strong experience working with Java, preferably with a Spring Boot Middleware
  • 2+ years of Angular experience
  • Worked with CI/CD pipelines and with cloud computing services, including AWS
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers including data scientists, UX, product and software engineers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
