Description For Golang Engineer

Oddball is seeking a Golang Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that impacts millions of Americans' daily lives. The role involves writing code, developing tests, and debugging, working closely with other engineers to develop end-to-end testing solutions, API endpoints, and services. You'll help build and improve both front-end and back-end code that interfaces with external systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing code and developing tests
  • Building end-to-end testing solutions
  • Developing API endpoints and services
  • Interfacing with external systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience building products used by customers/clients
  • 3+ years of experience writing services in Golang
  • Experience with AWS services, notably Parameter Store (a plus)
  • Ability to write clear, understandable code
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to handle pressure while providing support for a critical, high-traffic application
  • US Citizenship and ability to work domestically
  • Ability to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Requirements For Golang Engineer

Go
  • 5+ years of experience building products used by customers/clients
  • 3+ years of experience writing services in Golang
  • Experience with AWS services, notably Parameter Store, is a plus
  • The ability to write code that is a pleasure for other engineers to read and understand
  • The ability to speak and write in terms that non-developers can understand clearly
  • The ability to keep cool under pressure as you provide first level support for a critical, high traffic application
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
