Sr. Software Engineer

Oliv.AI is an emerging SalesTech startup headquartered in San Francisco that provides an AI copilot for modern sales teams. We recently announced a $5.2M Seed funding round! Our AI engine is designed to help sales managers and reps close more deals by automating mundane parts of sales processes and providing useful insights.

As a Sr. Software Engineer and founding engineer, you will design, build, and own products that our users love and use daily. You'll work with Clojure(script), a functional programming language that makes developing software a joyful experience. We're looking for engineers with a strong customer-centric mindset, deep sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systematically design, develop & deploy new products
• Take strong ownership of the product and improve it based on customer feedback and analytics
• Improve our culture and engineering/product practices
• Help with future hiring, onboarding, and growing the company
• Develop in (and learn) Clojure(script)
• Question the status quo and systematically reason about improvements

Requirements:

• Experience in building Single Page Applications using HTML/CSS and a JS framework, preferably React.js
• Backend experience using technologies like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc.
• Experience with or aspirations to learn functional programming practices
• Good understanding of modern web server-client architecture and concepts like REST-based APIs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong autonomy
