Security Engineer

Ometria, a Customer Data and Experience Platform, is seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard their digital assets and manage risks in their secure environment. The role involves working closely with Product and Engineering teams to implement security and privacy best practices while achieving business goals.

Ometria helps retail marketers optimize their campaigns and increase customer loyalty through personalized marketing messages across various channels. With over 120 employees across North America and Europe and $75m in funding from leading venture capital funds, Ometria serves prominent retail brands like Brooklinen, Davines, Steve Madden, and Sephora.

As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications, responding to security alerts, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures across projects. You'll work with AWS cloud environments, participate in security audits, and collaborate with external security researchers.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of AWS experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to security and privacy. You'll need to balance security requirements with business objectives while maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders.
