As a Backend Engineer in our Fintech team, you'll be at the forefront of building the systems that power our financial products. You'll work with modern technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, and Kubernetes on AWS, utilizing functional programming principles through the fp-ts library. Your role will involve architecting and implementing software applications, developing new features from scratch, and handling complex challenges around large-scale money movement and sensitive financial data.

The ideal candidate brings 3-7 years of experience, preferably with a background in computer science and fintech/banking systems. You should be comfortable with event-driven architecture, microservices, and have a solid understanding of banking protocols and security standards. We value engineers who can work independently, demonstrate technical excellence, and contribute to our collaborative, remote-first culture.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $130,000 to $170,000, along with comprehensive benefits including stock options, flexible time off, 401(k) with match, and parental leave.
