We're seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and lead the development of reliable, distributed systems supporting multiple business units including IXT (insurance core system), OneDegree HK (digital insurance platform), and Cymetrics (cybersecurity platform). Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer
- Implement and enhance system reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and efficiency using monitoring and automation tools on Azure and GCP
- Participate in capacity planning, analyze software performance, and fine-tune systems
- Develop and enhance CI/CD process and toolset
- Define and monitor key metrics to assess and enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with engineering team to improve reliability and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot, optimize infrastructure and automate repetitive tasks
Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies, specifically Azure and GCP
- Experience in complete software development life cycle (SDLC)
- In-depth understanding of network concepts with focus on security
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD processes
- Proficiency in automation platforms like Ansible and Terraform
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Git version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
