Description For Mechatronics Hardware Engineer

OneTrack.AI is revolutionizing warehouse operations through AI-powered visibility solutions that enhance workplace safety, labor productivity, and shipment quality. As a Mechatronics Hardware Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing sensor systems and components that power our innovative platform.

The position requires a unique blend of mechanical, electrical, and automation expertise. You'll be responsible for designing various components including metal parts, 3D printed components, PCBAs, and manufacturing tooling. Your work will directly impact our product's success through the development of mounting solutions, prototype creation, and implementation of manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience with a strong foundation in mechanical design, electrical systems, and automation controls. You should be proficient with CAD tools (preferably Fusion 360), have experience with PCB layout, and understand optical systems. Knowledge of automation controls using platforms like Raspberry Pi or Arduino is essential.

Working at OneTrack.AI offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that focuses on long-term value creation rather than short-term gains. You'll be part of a team that's making a real difference in warehouse operations, with the chance to work on cutting-edge technology that combines hardware, software, and AI.

The role offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment. Based in Chicago, you'll work in-person with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges.
