Principal Solution Engineer (GRC)

OneTrust is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer (SE) to drive business development and sales growth on a national scale. This role involves providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation across multiple verticals to support prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform. The position will work closely with specialist areas in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Third Party Risk Management, and Ethics assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as a technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities
• Leading technical deep dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices
• Supporting Sales Teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
• Coordinating with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner integrations teams
• Driving Sales and Marketing efforts in producing high-quality sales proposals and supporting assets
• Maintaining all sales cycle activities within the Salesforce.com CRM system

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or business field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Solution Engineering, Management Consulting, or a similar role
• Experience and understanding of GRC, TPRM, and Ethics
• A proven track record of successfully executing customer engagements throughout the customer journey
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and German
