Founding DevRel Engineer

Onyx is seeking a Founding DevRel Engineer to join their team working on their popular open source AI platform. The platform, which has garnered over 10K stars and hosts a community of 3K+ members across Slack and Discord, provides GenAI solutions connected to company documentation, applications, and personnel.

The role offers a unique opportunity to shape and scale the developer community of a well-funded startup that raised a $10M seed round, backed by prestigious investors like Khosla Ventures and First Round Capital. Their impressive customer base includes industry leaders like Netflix, Ramp, and Applied Intuition, with open source users including Roku, Zendesk, and L3Harris.

As the first Developer Relations Engineer, you'll be instrumental in growing the community and awareness, managing multiple channels including Slack, Discord, and GitHub. The position requires a strong technical background with at least 3 years of engineering experience, as you'll be deeply involved in technical content creation, community management, and contributing to the product roadmap based on community feedback.
