Description For Product Engineer

Opal Security is revolutionizing access management with their next-generation platform, serving prestigious clients like ScaleAI, Databricks, and Figma. Having raised over $32M from leading investors including Greylock and Battery Ventures, they're on a mission to simplify enterprise authorization.

As a Product Engineer, you'll join an experienced team with alumni from Slack, Meta, and Samsara. You'll be instrumental in creating full-stack features using a modern tech stack including Golang, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL. The role demands a seasoned professional with 5+ years of software development experience who can work across the entire stack while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in ambiguous environments. You'll collaborate closely with PM and design teams to create features from scratch and work directly with customers to understand their needs. Your work will directly impact how enterprises manage access and authorization, making complex systems simple and user-friendly.

The position offers competitive compensation ($140K-$215K) plus equity, comprehensive benefits including top-tier healthcare coverage, and quality-of-life perks such as daily lunch allowances and unlimited PTO. Based in either New York City or San Francisco, you'll be part of a team that values diversity, continuous learning, and making a significant impact in the enterprise software space.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer who wants to work on challenging problems at scale while maintaining a focus on user experience and product quality.
