Backend Software Engineer, Intelligent Support Engineering

The Intelligent Support Engineering team at OpenAI is at the forefront of applying AI technologies to real-world problems within the User Operations organization. The team focuses on building scalable solutions that can be applied across multiple domains within OpenAI.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing production-ready platform architecture while exploring new technological paradigms. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-centric thinking, as you'll be building systems that serve as exemplars of OpenAI technology implementation.

The team's mission is to demonstrate the potential of well-designed AI-based implementations, working through internal use cases focused on customer systems, including knowledge systems, automation systems, and automated agent systems.
