OpenAI is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Fine-Tuning API team. This role is part of the Applied AI department and is based in San Francisco. The position offers a competitive salary range of $300K – $450K, with additional compensation including generous equity and benefits.

As an Engineering Manager for the Fine-Tuning API team, you will lead a crucial part of OpenAI's mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity. You'll be responsible for managing and growing a team of talented engineers working on cutting-edge AI technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and mentoring a team of engineers working on the Fine-Tuning API
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute on product roadmaps
  3. Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Fine-Tuning API
