OpenAI is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to join their IT team within the Security organization. This role involves implementing and managing the security of OpenAI's internal information systems' infrastructure and processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT and Security teams to develop security capabilities, enforce policies, and monitor systems for threats.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing security measures to protect company information assets
- Monitoring systems for security threats and responding to alerts
- Enforcing IT and Security policies and procedures
- Hardening infrastructure using best practices in AzureAD, GSuite, Github, and other SaaS tools
- Advising employees on endpoint security best practices
- Implementing sharing controls and monitoring to protect company data
- Employing "secure by default" and "zero trust" models
- Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in internal systems
- Using AI-driven models to improve security detection and response
- Educating employees on data security best practices
- Contributing to endpoint and cloud security roadmaps
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in protecting and managing macOS fleets
- Experience with endpoint security solutions
- Knowledge of public cloud service providers
- Experience with identity and access management frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting languages
- Knowledge of modern adversary tactics
- Strong collaboration and project management skills
