Firmware Engineer

OpenAI is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their Compute team, focusing on supercomputer hardware systems development. This role combines cutting-edge deep learning with data center design, working on AI supercomputers and accelerator co-design. The position involves developing low-level firmware and software components, including BIOS, OpenBMC, and operating systems.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $360K-$530K with equity and comprehensive benefits. Based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model (3 days in office), the position includes relocation assistance.
