Forward Deployed Engineer - Seattle

OpenAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their growing team in Seattle. This role sits at the intersection of customer success and technical implementation, working with OpenAI's most strategic customers to translate their needs into practical AI solutions. As part of the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, you'll be instrumental in helping customers leverage OpenAI's cutting-edge API and models effectively.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with customers while maintaining deep technical involvement. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing solutions, working closely with various internal teams, and contributing to OpenAI's mission of ensuring AI benefits humanity. The compensation package is competitive, including a base salary range of $220K-$280K, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
