Research Engineer, Pre-training Architecture

OpenAI is seeking a Research Engineer for their Pre-training Architecture team, responsible for advancing the neural network architecture of OpenAI's flagship language models. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology with significant impact.

As a Research Engineer, you will:

• Develop a deep understanding of model architectures
• Iterate on research ideas to improve OpenAI's frontier models
• Systematically study existing architectures
• Implement novel ideas to gain understanding and find improvements to state-of-the-art models
• Collaborate closely with other researchers and engineers
