Security Engineer, Application Security

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $245,000 to $385,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Based in New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle, this hybrid role requires 3 days in the office per week, with relocation assistance available.

As a Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of protecting OpenAI's cutting-edge technology, people, and products. Your responsibilities will span from conducting security assessments and penetration testing to developing security tools and frameworks. You'll work closely with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, conduct threat modeling, and manage vulnerabilities.
