Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Applied Engineering
- Own the development of new customer-facing ChatGPT and OpenAI API features and product experiences end-to-end
- Talk to users to understand their problems and design solutions to address them
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations folks
- Optimize applications for speed and scale

Requirements For Software Engineer, Applied Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 6 months of post graduation, professional experience in software engineering or a relevant field
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, React, and some backend languages
- Some experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL
- Interest in AI/ML (direct experience not required)
