Software Engineer, Security Observability

OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Security Observability to join their Security team. This role focuses on building secure, scalable systems that enhance security observability infrastructure. The position offers a competitive salary range of $245K-$310K plus equity and comprehensive benefits. The role can be remote or based in OpenAI's offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City, with relocation assistance available. Key responsibilities include designing scalable security observability systems, building data pipelines, improving system resilience, and collaborating with Detection & Response teams. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering skills in Python or Golang, experience with infrastructure as code, and a background in data pipeline development for security applications.
