Solutions Engineer, Large Enterprise

OpenAI, a pioneering AI research and deployment company, is seeking a Solutions Engineer for their Large Enterprise segment. This role is crucial in helping major companies transform their businesses through AI solutions like ChatGPT and OpenAI API applications. As part of the Technical Success team, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe and effective deployment of AI solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to customers.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000-$280,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Based in either San Francisco or New York, this hybrid role requires 3 days in office per week. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of technical pre-sales experience and strong expertise in programming, particularly Python or JavaScript, along with a deep understanding of AI/ML solutions.

You'll work at the intersection of technical implementation and business strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders to guide AI strategy and identify high-value use cases. The role involves demonstrating product capabilities, building prototypes, and providing technical advisory services to enterprise clients. You'll also be responsible for handling security and compliance questions, creating documentation, and serving as a bridge between customers and internal teams.
