Responsibilities For Windows Security Engineer
- Lead the strategy and implementation of the security stack for Windows across our fleet
- Lead threat-modeling initiatives
- Collaborate with Windows-facing product teams to ensure security best practices
- Implement strong controls in the Windows ecosystem
- Influence security for authentication and authorization strategy
- Ensure continuous health and security telemetry
- Improve employee experience through system improvements
- Research adversary tradecraft and implement Windows security detections
Requirements For Windows Security Engineer
- 5+ years experience with Windows internals, configuration management, security hardening
- Expert-level security experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Experience with large-scale Windows fleet administration
- Knowledge of credential protection methods
- Proficiency with endpoint baselines and security solutions
- Experience managing configuration as code
- Experience with public cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Proficiency with Powershell and scripting languages
- Deep knowledge of modern adversary tactics
- Ability to empathize and collaborate with colleagues
