The Marketplace team at Opendoor is seeking a Software Engineer (Fullstack) to help build the future of real estate. This early-stage, growth team focuses on creating a revolutionary way for customers to buy and sell homes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across functions to develop and release new features
  • Drive the full development lifecycle from idea to release
  • Build exceptional user experiences on the frontend
  • Create reliable backend services to support team growth
  • Mentor and coach other engineers
  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience building consumer products
  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with React (frontend) and Ruby or Go (backend)
  • Experience with NextJS or Remix preferred
  • Strong product sense and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Full-stack capabilities

The role offers a competitive salary range of $114,400-$161,000 annually in most locations, with higher ranges for SF Bay Area, Seattle, and NYC ($143,200 - $179,000). Opendoor provides comprehensive benefits including paid time off, holidays, and insurance coverage.
