Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Prepare and deliver sales and project-specific presentations
  • Assess equipment needs and determine system requirements
  • Develop and present training courses for internal and external customers
  • Provide customer feedback to product management and engineering teams
  • Prepare cost estimates and site configurations
  • Create technical content for marketing campaigns
  • Support project installations remotely or on site
  • Maintain pre-sales engineering documentation
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering/Technical Support experience
  • 3 years Business to Business support experience
  • Ability to travel 50-75% including overnight
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office core products
  • Thorough understanding of networking
  • Knowledge of IP video compression technologies
  • Experience with security surveillance technologies and access control
  • Network+ certifications (preferred)
  • CRM software experience (preferred)
