Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Prepare and deliver sales and project-specific presentations
  • Assess equipment needs and determine system requirements
  • Develop and present training courses
  • Provide voice of the customer to product management
  • Prepare cost estimates and site configurations
  • Drive improvements through cost-benefit analysis
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Create technical content for marketing

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering / Technical Support experience
  • 3 years Business to Business support experience
  • Ability to travel 50-75% including overnight
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office core products
  • Thorough understanding of networking
  • Background knowledge in IT, networking, IP video compression, security surveillance technologies
  • Network+ certifications (preferred)
  • CRM software experience (preferred)
