Responsibilities For Senior Database Engineer
- Architect, implement, and sustain robust, scalable database solutions
- Maintain and optimize database elements including performance, security, storage, and access
- Develop and refine backend and data-centric software
- Review development requests and make decisions on implementation
- Drive collaboration with various departments and stakeholders
- Review software code for compliance with standards
- Provide guidance to other database or software engineers
- Analyze and interpret diverse input requirements
Requirements For Senior Database Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience with software programming and databases
- In-depth experience with relational databases in production environment
- Experience with BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau
- Proficiency in Java, C#, or similar programming language
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Advanced understanding of query execution plans and database performance tuning
- Exceptional data analytical skills
- Strong quality ethic and test-first attitude
- Great communication and teamwork skills
