Responsibilities For Staff SDET Engineer

  • Define and drive quality strategy across product suite
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality in software development lifecycle
  • Lead development and maintenance of test automation frameworks
  • Define process for review of test plans and automation code
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing for high-priority releases
  • Improve test automation frameworks
  • Own and report key quality metrics
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentor Engineering Team on testing best practices
  • Lead cross-functional quality initiatives
  • Evaluate and integrate testing tools and methodologies
  • Drive innovation in quality engineering

Requirements For Staff SDET Engineer

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of industry experience, 8+ years in SDET role
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs testing
  • Knowledge of cloud-native principles and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in database fundamentals and SQL
  • Experience with load/performance testing tools
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Experience in quality engineering for SaaS platforms
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
