Staff SDET Engineer

OpenGov, the leading provider of AI-enabled software for government entities, is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (Staff SDET) to spearhead quality engineering initiatives. The position requires a seasoned professional with 12+ years of industry experience, including 8+ years in an SDET role. You'll be responsible for defining and implementing testing standards, leading automation frameworks development, and ensuring quality across our product suite. The role combines technical expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern testing frameworks with strategic leadership in quality engineering.

Working from our Pune office, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities span from developing sophisticated test automation frameworks to mentoring engineering teams and driving innovation in quality practices. The role requires expertise in cloud-native technologies, API testing, and performance testing, particularly with tools like Playwright and k6.
