Optasia, a fully-integrated B2B2X financial technology platform, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team. This role is part of the team responsible for the stability and operability of the company's live services. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated technical engineer with a wide range of technical experience, ability to comprehend business operations, and expertise at resolving complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as L2 escalation point for critical/major incidents
- Troubleshoot application, system, and network issues
- Track and resolve issues, maintaining effective communication
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and provide resolutions within SLA target times
- Create support documentation and Runbooks/Knowledge Base articles
- Provide training and mentorship to First Level Support engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science
- 3+ years of working experience in a similar role
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Postgres databases
- Linux & Networking experience
- Good Shell Scripting Skills in Bash, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of container technologies (i.e. Docker)
- Fluent in English
