Senior Data Engineer, Fintech

Optasia, a leading B2B2X fintech platform, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing Data Engineering team. The company operates across 30 countries, providing AI-powered financial solutions including scoring, decisioning, disbursement, and collection services.

The role involves working with cutting-edge big data technologies and developing scalable data processing pipelines. You'll be part of a team that manages large-scale big data clusters and develops analytical pipelines using state-of-the-art technology stack including Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, and various programming languages.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for improving system scalability, developing end-to-end data processing pipelines, and maintaining core libraries for batch processing. The position requires expertise in the Hadoop ecosystem, relational and NoSQL databases, and Linux systems administration.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong technical skills, and a background in Computer Science. Experience with Hadoop/Spark, data flow engines, and secure code development practices would be advantageous.
