Senior Software Engineer, Fintech

Optasia, a fully-integrated B2B2X financial technology platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Fintech team. The role involves analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the microloan provisioning platform that handles millions of daily transactions. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in back-end platform development, strong Spring Framework skills, and knowledge of relational databases. The tech stack includes Spring, JMS, REST WebServices, Hazelcast, Postgres, Kafka, Elastic, Docker Swarm, and Debian.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the microloan provisioning platform
• Ensuring efficiency, performance, and quality in all development phases
• Working with microservices architecture
• Collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in back-end platform development
• Strong programming abilities in Spring Framework
• Knowledge of relational databases (NoSQL is a plus)
• Experience with Postgres, Elastic Search, Docker Swarm
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with secure code development (OWASP, NIST)
