Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit (NSGBU) is seeking an Operations Software Engineer (QA analyst) to join their Cloud Operations team. This role involves building software and processes to ensure schema changes are adequately tested and risk is well understood before deployment in production. The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and builds reliable and scalable solutions to work with NSGBU's rapid global expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Validating schema of Oracle NetSuite instances
- Validating tools and processes to streamline and automate current manual tasks
- Designing and implementing building blocks for a Continuous Validation ecosystem in pre-Production environment
- Leveraging technologies like Python, Open Search, Salt Stack, Oracle database, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Working with cross-functional teams to streamline overall Operational processes
- Designing innovative solutions to complex problems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Basics in Python or a similar high-level programming language
- Working knowledge of Databases and SQL language
- Comprehensive understanding of Linux operating system
- Atlassian Jira and Confluence knowledge is a plus
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn
- Expert at multi-tasking and managing parallel projects
- Team player who can be innovative and think of new ways to improve processes and tools
- Ability to work independently and with groups
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and escalate when necessary
- Communicative English skills
