Senior Java Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Developer at Oracle NetSuite, you will bring extensive experience and a comprehensive understanding of backend development with a strong focus on Java. Your role involves creating and integrating new API endpoints into large Java codebases and contributing to infrastructure, build pipelines, and containerization efforts. You'll solve complex tasks creatively, receive general instructions on new assignments, and significantly contribute to development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery
• Work with Docker to containerize applications and maintain consistency across environments
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java
• Create and integrate new API endpoints into large Java codebases
• Ensure smooth integration with Oracle databases and other backend services
• Perform unit testing with JUnit and create multi-service integration tests

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in full-stack development, with solid Java-centric backend development knowledge
• Proficiency in Java, including API endpoint creation and integration
• Strong understanding of Oracle databases from an application perspective
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
