Senior Software Engineer (Dev & QA)

NetSuite ERP engineers do more than write code. We become specialists in our business domain and take the time to deeply understand our customers' goals. We own the design of our product, bringing questions and ideas to the table and analyzing them. We develop greenfield code for new engines as well as maintain a powerful legacy codebase.

Our Foundations team develops the core building blocks of Transaction Numbering, Address components, Printing Engine, Entity Duplicate Detection, and more to allow customers to run their business smoothly and efficiently. While this may sound simple, our customers' needs vary widely, and our code base is complex. The NetSuite solution is written in Java, with Oracle DB as the main persistence layer. The UI uses internal JavaScript framework.

This role is for someone who wants to be involved in all phases of the development process: specification, design, architecture, testing, and maintenance. We'd like you to be passionate about clean code, quality, and SOLID principles. You should be proficient both in writing business logic, and automation tests, able to scrub issues in your product area, as well as take part in the code review process. If you want to work in an agile environment with continuous integration, pair programming, and TDD practices, our team is a phenomenal fit.
