Oracle NetSuite is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join their SuiteCloud Platform team in Brno, Czech Republic. This role is part of the platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for customizing and extending NetSuite's core capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
You'll be working on designing and implementing solutions that enable platform developers to distribute their applications to NetSuite customers. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of clean code principles, and the ability to work in an agile environment. You'll be exposed to a wide range of modern technologies and tools, and will work closely with other development teams and departments.

Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
- Work on the design and implementation of solutions that enable platform developers to distribute their applications to NetSuite customers
- Develop in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Focus on clean code, versioning, tooling, testing and architecture
- Work closely with other development teams and departments, product management, user experience, documentation to define and implement new product offerings
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience in STEM
- Drive for software design best practices and clean code principles
- Clear and effective communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts
- 2+ years software development experience with Java (or C# or similar) and JavaScript
- SQL database experience
- Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, web browsers
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, Object Programming Paradigm and SOLID principles
- Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
- Open mind for discussion and team collaboration
- Pride in your work and a desire to delight the customer
- Self-starter who can take directional input and drive projects autonomously
- Positive and resilient personality
- Fluent level of spoken and written English
