This role combines technical expertise with customer success, requiring 3-5+ years of Oracle Production DBA experience. The position involves working directly with customers to optimize their database systems, provide technical support, and deliver architectural guidance. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle technologies including Exadata, Grid Infrastructure, and Enterprise Manager, plus programming skills in Java, Python, and shell scripting.   • Improve stability, availability, and performance of critical production databases
  • Provide operational support and handle escalations for essential business systems
  • Deliver assistance with software installation, configuration, and health assessments
  • Analyze complex issues and perform root cause investigations
  • Offer problem-solving expertise with consideration of customer constraints
  • Deliver architecture advisory services and reviews
  • Conduct research and address technical inquiries

Requirements For Advanced Services Engineer - Customer Success Services (CSS)- Database

Java

  • 3-5+ years experience as an Oracle Production DBA with critical databases
  • Experience with Exadata, ODA, OCI, Oracle VM, Unix
  • Knowledge of Grid Infrastructure: RAC, ASM
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Manager (OEM), Grid Control
  • Experience with SQL optimization, AWR, ASH, traces
  • Knowledge of ODG, OGG, security, RMAN
  • Skills in Java, JSON, Python, shell scripting
  • Fluency in French and English
