Applications Developer 3

Oracle is seeking an Applications Developer 3 for their team working on brand new Public sector cloud applications. The role involves working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, analyzing, designing, coding, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for commercial or end-user applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering large-scale projects on-time with high quality
• Guiding developers in day-to-day design and coding tasks
• Design, development, and implementation of projects
• Working closely with Product Architects, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other development teams
• Developing frameworks using Core Java & J2EE technologies including REST-based web services
• UI development using JET, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Angular js, VBCS, etc.
• Participating in code reviews
• Engaging actively in developing technical designs
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and assimilating them into product suites
• Mentoring team members and tracking their progress
• Ensuring compliance with development methodology and technical process

The ideal candidate should be a well-rounded full stack developer with 4-8 years of experience in product development, advanced UI development skills (preferably using JET frameworks), and experience with cloud platforms and technologies. Strong skills in Java, J2EE, ADF, web services, and database design are required. Experience in Citizen applications product/domain or Fusion Tech Stack is preferred.
