As a Senior Applications Engineer, you'll be responsible for high-level design implementation, building complex enhancements, and ensuring product quality through comprehensive testing. The role requires expertise in technologies like Java, JavaScript frameworks, microservices, and cloud architecture. You'll collaborate with product owners, contribute to technical decisions, and drive transformational changes in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of software development experience, strong technical skills in enterprise application development, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You'll work with technologies including Oracle VBCS/JET, REST/SOAP services, and modern cloud frameworks. Knowledge of HCM domain and AI/ML is a plus.

Responsibilities For Applications Developer 3
- Perform high-level design based on provided external specifications
- Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs
- Build and execute unit tests and unit plans
- Work with geographically dispersed team of world-class engineers
- Collaborate with product strategy/owners and other stakeholders
- Develop ultra-scalable, highly reliable diagnostic instrumentation
- Provide design suggestions to complex problems
- Balance technical leadership and business judgment
Requirements For Applications Developer 3
- Strong technical knowledge of Oracle VBCS/Oracle JET, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, XML, SOAP and REST Web services
- Familiarity with Microservices and frameworks like Spring Boot or Helidon
- Strong analytical and debugging/problem solving skills
- Expertise in performance tuning approaches in Java/SQL
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3-5 years of software development experience
