Oracle is seeking an Applications Developer 3 to join their Product Development team in Bengaluru. This role involves working with internal business teams on both functional and technical aspects of software implementation using Oracle's latest technology. The position requires 4 years of software engineering experience and focuses on designing and building custom applications/tools for enhancing Oracle's Cloud Business.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with various global divisions to understand requirements and interact with software engineering and security engineering teams. They will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining custom applications that are robust, secure, and scalable. The role involves working with technologies like Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL, with a strong focus on cloud-native microservices architecture.

Responsibilities For Applications Developer 3
- Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs
- Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications
- Perform high-level design based on provided external specifications
- Design and implement changes to existing software architecture
- Build and execute unit tests and unit plans
- Review integration and regression test plans
- Collaborate with global divisions to understand requirements
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain custom applications
Requirements For Applications Developer 3
- BS/MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of business, programming logic, standards, patterns, and algorithms
- Experience in large-scale distributed cloud systems
- Understanding of scalable cloud native Microservices
