Applications Developer 4

You will be part of the Fusion CX Service DevOps team, managing development environments, configurations, installations, deployments, and source code branches/merges. You'll play a key role in supporting DevOps operations, working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Lumberjack, etc.), Java, JavaScript, SQL and PL/SQL, Python, Perl, shell scripting, and various other technologies used in Fusion Apps.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Development: Design, develop, and maintain tooling for DevOps activities
2. Operations Support: Participate in support activities for the development environment, ensuring high availability and reliability of services
3. Collaboration: Work with development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to address issues and requirements
4. Continual Improvement: Identify areas of improvement and design/build solutions to enhance development productivity
5. Documentation: Create and maintain effective documentation

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6-10+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, Platform Engineer, or in development
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Unix shell, Python/WLST)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools & source control tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git CI, SVN)
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools and technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with HTML, CSS, REST APIs, Java, JavaScript, Node.js
• Experience with WebLogic server and Oracle database technology stack administration (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Good understanding of cloud and web application architectures and Cloud Services
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
