Description For Applications Developer

Oracle's Procurement Cloud Development team is seeking experienced developers for their fast-growing division within Oracle Applications Cloud Suite. The role involves working on sophisticated areas including complex search engines, time-critical auctions/bidding processes, and core business functionalities like bulk order processing. You'll use latest technologies including JDeveloper, ADF, Oracle 12c Database, Oracle SQL, BPEL, Oracle Text, BC4J, web-services, and SOA. The position offers exposure to both technical and business aspects of software development, with opportunities to work directly with product management and customers. The team culture emphasizes both hard work and maintaining a positive work environment. This role requires strong Java development skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to craft end-to-end features independently.

Responsibilities For Applications Developer

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial applications
Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications
Perform high-level design based on provided external specifications
Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture
Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs
Build and execute unit tests and unit plans
Review integration and regression test plans created by QA
Work with product management team to define product functionality
Interact with customers to resolve issues

Requirements For Applications Developer

Java

JavaScript

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
4 years of software engineering or related experience
Experience in Java based Applications
Good programming skills and excellent analytical/logical skills
Knowledge of JDBC, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux
Experience with BPEL, Workflow System, ADF, REST Implementation preferred
Knowledge of AI/ML and Scrum processes is a plus
