Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. Within this organization, the Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team has been powering conversational AI experiences for 7 years and is evolving to provide Generative AI solutions for healthcare and enterprise domains. The role involves working with large volumes of data to solve real-world problems in the Healthcare domain, with a significant focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. The position is part of new teams being established in India, working on feature development, language expansion, and ML Engineering. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering Generative AI-powered solutions for healthcare and enterprise customers, combining technical expertise with practical implementation skills. Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 3
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection
- Ability to use existing libraries and design algorithms ground-up
- Combine ML Sciences depth with programming expertise
- Drive selection of methods and techniques for solutions
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Strong experience in LLM Systems and LLMOps
Requirements For Applied Scientist 3
- Bachelors Degree with relevant experience; Masters degree
- Exposure to real-world MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 3+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
