Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. Within this organization, the Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team is seeking an Applied Scientist to join their innovative team. The role involves working with large volumes of data to solve healthcare domain problems using ML and AI technologies. The position is part of new teams being built in India, focusing heavily on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing new features for CDA Specialty Expansion & Innovation, Language & Region Expansion, and various ML Engineering aspects. This is an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with high visibility and senior leadership support, delivering Generative AI-powered solutions for healthcare and enterprise customers. Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 3
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection
- Ability to use existing libraries and design algorithms ground-up
- Combine ML Sciences depth with programming expertise
- Drive selection of methods and techniques
- Demonstrate strong program management
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Strong experience in LLM Systems and LLMOps
Requirements For Applied Scientist 3
- Bachelors Degree with relevant experience; Masters degree
- Exposure to real-world MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
