Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. The Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team, within this organization, has been delivering conversational AI experiences for 7 years and is evolving to provide Generative AI solutions for healthcare and enterprise domains. The role involves working with large volumes of data to solve healthcare domain problems, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. The position is part of new teams being established in India, working on feature development, language expansion, and ML engineering. The work environment is entrepreneurial and promotes creativity, operating in an agile setting with high visibility and senior leadership support.
Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 4
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting
- Develop ML models and prepare data pipelines
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Identify and investigate new technologies
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving
- Design and validate patterns for compelling experience
Requirements For Applied Scientist 4
- Ph.D. Degree preferred
- Experience leading multiple projects leveraging LLMs, GenAI and Prompt Engineering
- Experience with MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
- Strong research record preferred through publications
- Prior experience with Prompt Engineering and RAG systems
