Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. Within this organization, the Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team is seeking an Applied Scientist to work on Conversational AI and Generative AI capabilities. The role involves working with large volumes of healthcare data, developing ML solutions, and implementing GenAI features. The position is part of a new team being built in India, with emphasis on Large Language Models and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ML, particularly in LLMs and GenAI, with a strong research background and ability to lead projects. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on Oracle's healthcare and enterprise AI solutions.
Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 4
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting
- Ability to use existing libraries and design algorithms ground-up
- Combine ML Sciences depth with programming expertise
- Drive selection of methods and techniques for solutions
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Identify and investigate new technologies
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving
- Strong experience in LLM Systems and LLMOps
Requirements For Applied Scientist 4
- Ph.D. Degree preferred
- Experience having led multiple projects leveraging LLMs, GenAI and Prompt Engineering
- Exposure to real-world MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
- Strong research record preferred demonstrated through publications
