Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. Within this organization, the Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team is seeking an Applied Scientist to join their innovative team. The role involves working with large volumes of data to solve healthcare domain problems, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. This position offers an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with direct impact on healthcare solutions. The team operates in an agile environment with high visibility and senior leadership support. You'll be part of a new team being built from scratch in India, working on cutting-edge technologies including GenAI capabilities, LLMs, and healthcare AI solutions. The role combines advanced machine learning expertise with practical implementation in a production environment, making it ideal for someone who wants to impact healthcare through AI innovation. Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 4
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection
- Ability to use existing libraries and design algorithms ground-up
- Combine ML Sciences depth with programming expertise
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Strong research record preferred through publications
- Identify and investigate new technologies
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving
- Strong experience in LLM Systems and LLMOps
Requirements For Applied Scientist 4
- Ph.D. Degree preferred
- Experience having led multiple projects leveraging LLMs, GenAI and Prompt Engineering
- Exposure to real-world MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
