Block Storage Service SRE/DevOps Senior Manager

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Manager for their Block Storage Service Team to lead the SRE/DevOps initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with team management, focusing on building and maintaining a distributed scalable storage service that operates across multiple global regions. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in systems operations, particularly in Linux and storage systems, with strong leadership capabilities to grow and mentor a team of SRE engineers.

The role involves leading critical operations including security scanning, compliance, patching, and software deployments across all regions. You'll be responsible for developing automation tools (primarily in Python) and processes that are essential to Block Storage service delivery. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least 3 days per week in the Santa Clara office.
