Description For Cloud Adoption Manager

Cloud Adoption is a newly-formed organization within EMEA Technology Cloud Engineering (TCE) group, with the mission to increase customer consumption growth by driving fast activation, nurturing efficient ramp up and removing technical barriers. The Cloud Adoption Manager role focuses on post-booking customer lifecycle management, ensuring successful and sustainable cloud consumption growth.

The position involves collaborating with TCE teams to improve Oracle Cloud usage while creating robust customer experiences. Key responsibilities include driving customer activation, managing adoption plans, monitoring consumption, and removing technical barriers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful customer engagements.

Responsibilities For Cloud Adoption Manager

  • Drive fast and smooth Customer activation for new cloud customers
  • Provide standard methodology guidance on Landing Zone
  • Monitor and review Adoption Plan with customers
  • Supervise and predict consumption fluctuations
  • Pro-actively monitor burn rates and provide consumption forecast
  • Drive Go Live Assurance
  • Provide Operations Monitoring and Optimization Advisory
  • Identify and resolve structural issues affecting cloud usage
  • Act as a customer advocate for product features

Requirements For Cloud Adoption Manager

Kubernetes
  • 6-10+ years of experience
  • OCI Foundations Associate level certification (minimum)
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Project Management knowledge (e.g., Prince2)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in Italian & English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience in Tech Cloud engineering roles
  • Ability to travel 25% international and domestic
