Description For Cloud Asset Management Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Cloud Asset Management Engineer to join their team. This role involves analyzing asset assessments, reviewing scan data, researching emerging threats, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure vulnerability remediation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing results of assessments, reports, tests, and other asset verifications
  • Reviewing scan data to identify and report new findings
  • Researching and investigating new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Facilitating resolution of issues and escalating delays strategically
  • Providing regular updates to key stakeholders on progress, blockers, and target dates
  • Collecting and aggregating information to produce actionable reports and metrics
  • Working with other Engineers to validate data relevance and actionability
  • Seeking opportunities for growth and suggesting new ideas for improvement

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or Information Security
  • Deep understanding of vulnerability and risk management
  • Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.)
  • Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred)
  • Experience with data gathering, filtering, and manipulation using Python

Responsibilities For Cloud Asset Management Engineer
