Oracle is seeking a Cloud Asset Management Engineer to join their team. This role involves analyzing asset assessments, reviewing scan data, researching emerging threats, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure vulnerability remediation. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing results of assessments, reports, tests, and other asset verifications
- Reviewing scan data to identify and report new findings
- Researching and investigating new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities
- Facilitating resolution of issues and escalating delays strategically
- Providing regular updates to key stakeholders on progress, blockers, and target dates
- Collecting and aggregating information to produce actionable reports and metrics
- Working with other Engineers to validate data relevance and actionability
- Seeking opportunities for growth and suggesting new ideas for improvement
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or Information Security
- Deep understanding of vulnerability and risk management
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.)
- Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred)
- Experience with data gathering, filtering, and manipulation using Python
