Cloud Solution Engineer (m/w/*) IC4

Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

As an Account Cloud Engineer, you will have full accountability and responsibility to orchestrate technical resources to define, drive and implement long-term strategies for our ISVs in EMEA. We are looking for the confidence, coming out of practical experience and an exceptional technical background, to create value and bring new perspectives for technical decision factors (heads of technology, architects and key players in the technical teams).

Key responsibilities include:

• Customer aligned, responsible for customer lifecycle from project concept to usage and expansion
• Drives alignment with the Cloud Sales Rep, working as a team to define/drive sales strategy
• Maintains awareness of customer's infrastructure and advises on new workloads
• Orchestrates technical resources to ensure technology drives customer business outcomes
• Solves complex problems and brings in the right resources across lines of business
• Builds a Cloud consumption plan for and with the customer
• Takes responsibility for the ultimate success of implementation projects

Required skills:

• At least 5 years in chief architect role or ACE-like role in software engineering / Data Science
• Experience in software development lifecycle, enterprise architecture, and Cloud native services
• Experience in multi-cloud deployments
• Understanding of current technologies around data fabric (AI, Data Science, Machine Learning)
• Entrepreneurial mindset to link technology to business
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English skills on C2 level
