Responsibilities For CSS - Principal Advanced Services Engineer – Systems Administration (Egypt)

  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, administer, and implement OS and storage systems
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Oracle products
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for product problems
  • Deliver high-quality technical support services to Oracle CSS customers
  • Provide proactive health checks and performance tuning recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor
  • Transfer relevant technical knowledge regarding Oracle products
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance knowledge sharing

Requirements For CSS - Principal Advanced Services Engineer – Systems Administration (Egypt)

Linux
Kubernetes
  • 10+ years experience in Solaris 10/11 and Linux distributions
  • Oracle Sun Solaris OS, Network and Cluster Administration experience
  • University Degree in Computer science or similar
  • Strong English written/verbal communications
  • Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems, SuperCluster, Exadata
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud IaaS
  • Skills in Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, Ansible
  • Flexibility to travel (~25% of the time) in EMEA region
  • Ability to work in 24x7 shift support
